Kids, it's time to chow down with the dogs. That's the point behind dinner with the dogs at the Rancho Coastal Humane Society. It's their newest children's education program to teach kids about caring and appreciating animals.
The animal shelter is inviting kids ages 5 and up to "Dinner with the Dogs" March 13. Admission is $15. They will not only get a behind-the-scenes tour, they'll also make arts and crafts for the animals. They'll play with friendly animals and enjoy a meal with new friends according to a spokesperson for the shelter. "Dinner with the Dogs" is held twice a month. Noodles and Co. will provide dinner.
