Bring Your Bikini to the Dive-In Theatre

Pearl Hotel makes a splash with its cinema social

Where else but San Diego can you party at a poolside lounge and watch a movie under the stars.  Dive-in Theatre is all set to go April 1 at the Pearl Hotel in Point Loma with showtime at 8pm. Films are projected onto a 10 X 13 foot projection screen with full sound, overlooking an oyster-shaped swimming pool.

The outdoor seating area includes table service, chaises, and hammocks. But it's first come first serve basis and the word is get there early, according to Yelp.com. If you want to score a corner spot of your own, there are two semi-private poolside cabanas for a minimum of six people that are available if you reserve it .

The movie playing will be the 1981 flick "Arthur". And while the swimming pool is free to guests of the Pearl Hotel, it will only cost you a drink for a dive in the pool.
