Are You an Ox?

Ring in the New Year again with a Chinese celebration

If you missed the hoopla of New Year's Eve, then here's your chance to ring in the Chinese New Year like an Ox. The Chinese zodiac calender begins anew on Jan 26. People born in the year of the Ox are patient, quiet and mentally and physically alert. But they also tend to be eccentric and short-tempered too. San Diego is celebrating in the spirit of the Chinese with several events including one at the Barona Valley Ranch Resort Casino with a Lion and Dragon dance tradition. If you can't wait, the 3-day  San Diego New Year Tet Festival begins Jan 23 at Balboa Park.  And if you want to carry on the celebration through February click on : The Year of the Ox for more events.
