The family of Karen Ruiz, a 35-year-old woman who was murdered by her ex-boyfriend in front of her 3-year-old daughter in Pacoima, is heartbroken and outraged by the death of their relative.

A 35-year-old woman was shot and killed in Pacoima Thursday and police identified an ex-boyfriend as the suspected gunman. The shooting was captured on camera. Her ex-boyfriend, the suspect, is considered armed and dangerous and anyone who sees him should contact law enforcement immediately, police said.
