 El Cajon Mayor Bill Wells Wednesday announced his candidacy for California’s 51st Congressional District, currently represented by Rep. Sara Jacobs.

While local families continue to mourn loved ones lost to the ongoing fentanyl crisis, San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria is preparing to speak about the issue at a conference in Washington D.C.

Chula Vista voters will have to decide between six candidates who are running for mayor. The top-two vote-getters on June 7 will square off in November.
