A campaign calling on Congress and the White House to enact a new immigration reform is encouraging immigrants to stop all labor on Monday to show the nation’s leaders how their important their roles in the country are and how they’re needed for success.

President Biden’s plan features an eight year path to citizenship for 11 million undocumented immigrants.

The plan will include an expedited path to citizenship, allowing Dreamers, and certain farm workers and immigrants, to immediately be eligible for green cards and then citizenship, reports NBC 7’s Melissa Adan

President Joe Biden has unveiled the U.S. Citizenship Act which, if approved, will offer an eight-year road map to citizenship for the country’s estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants, among other changes.
