State Controller Betty T. Yee on Tuesday reminded Southern California homeowners affected by recent wildfires that they have more time to apply for the Property Tax Postponement program.

Cal State University San Marcos has extended its deadline to apply for admission for the fall 2021 semester by six weeks in recognition of the toll that the coronavirus pandemic has exacted on students, it was announced Wednesday.

Americans faced a historic level of unemployment and a financial crisis brought upon by the coronavirus pandemic this year. As a response, Covered California extended its deadline to give Golden State residents more time to sign up for their health insurance.
