Easter Sunday

There’s no getting around it: San Francisco is weird. And nearly every Easter Sunday, the city reaffirms its weirdness with an event that could only take place here: an event where fully grown adults fly down a steep hill on plastic tricycles.

On the eve of Easter Sunday, the Los Angeles Department of Animal Services reminded pet owners on Saturday about the hazards of holiday decorations, including baskets of candy, chocolate, and toys that may be harmful to furry family members.

On Friday, local community organizers were making sure hundreds of Bay Area children had a chance to see “Easter Sunday” during a special event at the Asian-American-owned Presidio Theatre in San Francisco.
