Transit agencies will begin a three-year bus-on-shoulder pilot project Tuesday, which will allow South Bay Rapid buses to use select freeway shoulders during peak travel times to bypass slow traffic.

The Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) has launched a free Wi-Fi program on 10 buses to test internet access for its riders.
