Sounds Like San Diego: September 10

The Australian quintet's show at El Dorado will make Tuesday night totally golden

When Gold Fields performed at the Casbah in March, jaws dropped, people danced, and heads nearly exploded. The Australian quintet were on their way to SxSW and certainly had an enthusiastic crowd for their energetic performance. The band returns, but this time to El Dorado, where it's sure to get steamy in the small space. The band has so many influences that their sound can't be pigeonholed -- a little bit indie, a little bit dancey, and a whole lot of fun. No doubt this is the show of the night -- get there early because it will likely sell-out.
