Sounds Like San Diego: May 3

Not that other shows tonight don't deserve your attention, but these Top 3 are all solid acts and, ultimately, your decision might come down to ticket prices. James Blunt kicks off his tour in support of his latest, Some Kind of Trouble, right here in San Diego, which also kicks of the Summer Concert Series at Humphreys. Over at Anthology, Rhett Miller and Robert Francis take the stage. San Diego loves Rhett, and he seems to love it here, so can we just call him San Diego's official boyfriend? This show is going to be good, and it should be over early enough that you can drive up the street to the Casbah to catch Charles Bradley and the Menahan Street Band, celebrating the 62-year-old's debut release. This project is getting nothing but rave reviews, and in true Daptone fashion, is sure to blow the lid off the Casbah. Bring your dancing choos.
