Sounds Like San Diego: May 1

If Wednesday's eclectic selection of shows doesn't tickle your fancy, perhaps there is nothing that will. Brazilian Tropicalia legends Os Mutantes perform at the Casbah, quite possibly the smallest venue on their North American tour. There are still a few tickets left at press time, so I'd recommend buying online if you plan on attending. Over at Soda Bar, Chad Valley makes his debut San Diego appearance. The artist (real name Hugo Manuel) is based out of Oxford and offers a brilliant set of lush and shimmery summer songs that are certainly worth catching live. To cross the wide soundscape of genres, punk-rockers Helmet return to San Diego with a show at the Griffin with locals Ape Machine and South Bay favorites I*Wish*I opening the show.
