There is some seriously good stuff happening around town on Thursday, so if you didn't have plans to go out, you might want to reconsider. The San Diego County Fair has the Belly Up Music Festival, with tastes of several great local bands, while Gunner Gunner headline at the Merrow. Studio magician and talented musician Jeff Berkley plays at Java Joe's, and the Warlocks get dark at the Hideout. To round things out, Good Graeff perform at Soda Bar and Fool's Gold takes the stage at the Casbah. The big show, however, is the Mackshow. Our friend Kenny of Mariachi el Bronx turned us onto these guys, who are playing a free show at Bar Pink. All the way from Japan, their throwback sound to 1950s rock & roll makes them a pack of greasers you don't want to miss.
