Fair Thee Well

I have to give it to the women of the 2010 Lilith tour for being brave.

More than a dozen years ago, the original Lilith Fair was billed as a celebration of women in music and toured the nation at a time when radio still broke artists, and record and concert sales made a lot of people a whole lot of money. This year's edition has been plagued with problems, downsizing venues in some markets and all-out cancellations in others. There's also the issue of fan club members buying tickets at high presale costs, only to see comparable tickets sold in several promotions, from two-for-one offers to removing service charges to offering $10 flat rate tickets, causing outrage among the tribe that Lilith tries so hard to create.

The good news is that the tour stop in Chula Vista has many talented ladies on the bill, and while I can't guarantee it, I would bet that you could walk up and score some reasonably priced tickets to the show.
