Sounds Like San Diego: July 3

Rock & roll royalty Ronnie Spector will be at the North Park Theatre on Thursday

We already published an interview (read it here), but Thursday is especially exciting because Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Ronnie Spector is coming to the North Park Theatre. Her show is part concert, part historical monologue, and it should be an interesting walk through rock & roll's colorful past. We hope to laugh a little, cry a little and celebrate music. Meanwhile, the Casbah has Metalachi performing mariachi versions of metal classics, and if you were at either of the Rodriguez shows last month, perhaps you caught Rusty Maples opening. The LA band is back with its own headlining slot on Thursday at Soda Bar.
