You've got a few live-music choices this Monday, but don't fret, because they're pretty solid and your forecast for the week is looking pretty bright. If you love singer/songwriters who sound steeped in another era, Parker Millsap is your guy at the Casbah. His record "The Very Last Day" dropped earlier this year and was featured on NPR's "Songs We Love." Meanwhile, the Buffalo-born singer/songwriter Miwi La Lupa performs at Soda Bar. To be honest, the two shows should've probably been combined, but sometimes it doesn't work that way. Whereas Parker might evoke Tom Waits, Miwi calls to mind Paul Simon. Either way, you'll get a great, mellow Monday to kick off the week.
