Sounds Like San Diego: Jan. 7

Foo Fighters bassist Nate Mendel brings Lieutenant to Casbah, while Plastik Deer hits Soda Bar

Tonight is going to be a doozy at the Casbah, as Lieutenant takes the stage. The solo project of Foo Fighters bassist Nate Mendel -- who's also a former member of Sunny Day Real Estate -- is getting some buzz, but in a sometimes late-to-the-party town like San Diego, expect a lot of people to miss this one on their radar. With L.A.'s Lady Low opening the show, this is gonna be a special and intimate show for those of you who are in the know. Around town, Plastik Deer hits Soda Bar, while Second Cousins join some other great locals at Belly Up and Robin Henkel performs at Java Joe's.
