As far as I can tell, Wednesday's offerings are almost all local. That means that you get an opportunity to explore San Diego's music scene, perhaps while enjoying some local beer to go with it. In fact, the Belly Up is having its own little beer festival tonight, so sip some brews while enjoying the Tilt, or head over to Soda Bar, which always has a great selection of beers on tap, as you enjoy Wovenhand. I'll be down at the Casbah enjoying a Manzanita Rustic Horizon as I get down to Ugly Boogie, Matt Curreri -- who'll be performing with a live horn section -- and John Meeks. You don't need touring bands or imported beer when you live in a beer-and-music mecca like San Diego.
