Sounds Like San Diego: Aug. 8

Melodic post-hardcore makes a comeback

It's been a long time since I frequented Che Cafe, but as each new generation comes through, it never loses its charm. When faced with eviction, the community pulled together and kept it going strong. Still, nothing quite makes the venue explode like hardcore bands slaying that tiny room. That's why, tonight, you can expect Touche Amore to absolutely shred the room. Around town, locals Jason Hanna & the Bullfighters lead a pack of great music at Casbah, Austin folk singer Ben Ballinger is at Til-Two Club and Jamaican DJ Big Youth appears at Belly Up.
