Sounds Like San Diego: May 1

Today's is going to be a nice to kick around my neighborhood. I'll walk to Normal Heights and explore the Roots Fest, hopefully making a point of seeing some musicians I've never seen before mixing it up with some that I have, like the sweet Makepeace Brothers performing at 2 p.m. I might stick around the fair all day, in fact, because after my weekend, I could stand some time with the adjoined Healing Arts Festival. Perhaps I'll try out some meditation or have a raw food dinner. I have a feeling today is gonna be a good day. Since the Casbah is closed tonight, I might really stick around to catch Cowboy and Indian, and Rusty Maples at Lestat's. An easy, breezy San Diego day before we all get a brutal case of the Mondays.
