Sounds Like San Diego: April 27

Har Mar Superstar give the bump to the midweek slump at Casbah Wednesday

It's not a good sign when three days into the workweek you're already desperatly yearning for the weekend, but sometimes things just go that way. Fortunately we have music to get us through and help us get our minds off of the grind, and Wednesday night, the king of the party is back. Har Mar Superstar, whose signature look of a silk boxing robe and tighty whities never lets us down at the Casbah. His music is tongue in cheek, but the dance party is 100% real. This is definitely a show not to miss if you've never seen it before. Though even then it's a tough call because Jamestown Revival returnto the Belly Up, and you know how I love my Americana. Also in town are La Ley -- the first band that made me love rock en espaรฑol -- who play the first of two nights at House of Blues. Relative to the rest of my week, too many music choices is a good problem to have.
