Get Sweaty With LMFAO

As we gear up for the annual tradition of favorites like cinnamon rolls, corndogs, deep-fried cereal, deep-fried pork chops and deep-fried peanut butter and jelly, the San Diego County Fair kicks off this weekend at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. With food like that, you have all the more reason to hit the dance floor over the next few days so you can burn off those calories.

On Friday, it’s another monthly Pussy Galore night at the Whistle Stop in South Park. You can check out live performances from the Very and Snakesuit. Plus I’ll be spinning indie, electro, ‘80s and more throughout the night. There’s no cover and you can get more info here. At Voyeur it’s Dave Aude and you can get on the no-cover-before-10:30 p.m. list by going to this link.

Saturday, join Club Sabbat at the new Kitty Diamond (formerly the Flame) as the transformation continues. All original Sabbat DJ boys Atom, Diskdroid and Liquid Grey will be providing the music and there are details via this link. LMFAO takes over Valley View Casino Center with a concert that also features opening performances from Far East Movement, Sidney Samson and Eva Simons. Afterwards, Redfoo and SkyBlu of LMFAO plus special guest Eva Simons hit Voyeur with a DJ set to keep the party going.

Sunday Funday action with San Diego’s hottest pool party, Intervention, features DJ sets from the Cataracs and Cobra Starship. Your info is here. At Wavehouse, LED presents Rebecca & Fiona, Clockwork, Tim Mason, Mossberg Pump and Cut Snake. Plus, another edition of House Music Sundays at Quality Social featuring My Boy Elroy (Chicago). He’ll be joined by duo French Kiss Collective, More Is More (LA) and Third-Twin. Details via this link. There’s also the Summer of Love pool party at the Lafayette with Lee Curtiss, Jon Dadon, Boys Don’t Disco, Sand plus Mikey Lion & Porkchop. Don your finest pirate attire as that’s the theme for the parrrty.

For more info, visit my blog here. Have a great weekend and I’ll see you on the dance floor.
