Sounds Like San Diego: November 5

Matt & Kim, Summer Walker, Twenty One Pilots, Messer Chups and more play San Diego Tuesday

It's hard to believe we're already getting into the holiday season, but so it is as as we are into November and staring down the calendar with Thanksgiving and Christmas headed right toward us. But until we get there, we've got some great music coming our way. The Observatory North Park will be a spectacle with Matt & Kim celebrating the 10-year anniversary of their debut "Grand." The duo are known for their fun shows (and potty mouths, if we're being honest) and it is always super fun just watching the two in action, usually with various stimuli like beach balls or confetti or bubbles or inflatables to surf the crowd. Meanwhile, Twenty One Pilots is back in town and though often hidden behind masks or backlighting, no doubt Pechanga Arena will be filled to the brim with fans of all ages, though the tweens will largely dominate. Our favorite Cambodian-rock band Dengue Fever play a special ArtPwr show at Price Center Ballroom and Craig Finn of the Hold Steady has a self-titled project that makes its San Diego debut at Soda Bar. Tons of good stuff, especially since the week is really just getting started.
