Those crazy kids over at San Diego State don't have enough March Madness on their hands with the Aztecs, evidently -- they're also being treated to a free series of shows at lunchtime.
Students and other music fans can head over to the Aztec Center Outdoor Patio for a series of what are being called "nooners," courtesy of the folks at SDSU’s Cultural Arts & Special Events (CASE).
The shows run an hour, starting at noon. Up later this month are the singer/songwriters Zachary Apps (next Tuesday) and Mike Annuzzi, who will perform on Thursday, March 24.
CASE has shows scheduled through May and is inviting musicians to perform (send an electronic press kit here). So bring your lunch, books, friends or phone and break up the grind with a musical snack to feed your soul.
