I'm not a festival person, and just because Kaaboo is here doesn't mean I'm going to pretend to be one. But, there are a lot of people who live for festivals and Kaaboo has now established itself enough that the newness of it is gone. They have a strong lineup and plenty of bands I'd go see or have seen, so I'll just wish all the Kaaboo ticketholders loads of fun. Make sure you check the rules about prohibited items and whatnot, by the way. For the rest of us, we have plenty of things to keep us entertained for the night, including the soulful magic of Rebecca Jade at the Casbah, Secret Fun Club’s show at Soda Bar and Millencolin's sold-out appearance at the Belly Up.
