If you do the math, and since Thursday is Thanksgiving, one might consider today humpday. And so that's all the more reason to get out tonight to catch some good ol' live music. Tonight at the Casbah, you can support Eddie Spaghetti of the Supersuckers, who was diagnosed with stage 3 oropharynx cancer earlier this year. It meant immediate surgery and treatment and canceling the 'Suckers' European tour, but he's fighting and bravely doing a solo tour with a stop tonight in town. He's got JD Pinkus of Butthole Surfers in tow and will certainly give all he's got for this show and tour. Soda Bar keeps it local with the driving rock of WidowMade or head to House of Blues for the Canadian bluegrass of the Dead South and a SoundDiego favorite, Scott H Biram on support. Belly Up digs deep with a Hendrix celebration and Tim Pyles parties it up with three local acts who have become experts in the self-promotion game. It's actually a really good night to see live music and you probably should since the next couple days will be more of the hangout variety.
