Sounds Like San Diego: Oct. 14

Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears would like to assure you that Monday nights can be fun and liberating

When you've got great music on Mondays, particularly on an observed holiday, you start to feel free from the expectation that Mondays always suck. Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears would like to assure you that Monday nights can be fun and liberating. The Austinites have played the Casbah consistently on an annual basis and have always sold out the room, but tonight is a test to see if that feat can be repeated on a Monday, instead of the usual Friday or Saturday slot. Another band from Austin is in town tonight at Soda Bar. Wurve play fuzzed out reverb heavy rock and bring a garage sound that we San Diegans can't seem to get enough of. Classic rockers UFO are also in town tonight with a show at the House of Blues, so it's a little something for everyone if you're ready for some Monday night fun.
