On Tuesday, October 25, the 22nd annual San Diego Union-Tribune Kids’ NewsDay will highlight the incredible stories of the children, whose lives have been changed thanks to the advances being made at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. In partnership with NBC 7 San Diego and through sponsorship from the Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary, Kids NewsDay calls public attention to the vital role Rady’s plays in our San Diego Community.
Thanks to the willing thousands of volunteers throughout the community, including the NBC 7 San Diego on-air news team; tens of thousands of the special edition newspapers will be distributed throughout county. Each in exchange for suggested donation of $1 that goes directly to Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. The tagline for the effort is simple and direct: ‘One Dollar. One Paper. One Day.’
