Mailing a letter the old-fashioned way is often referred to as snail mail. This particular story certainly lives up to that saying.
A postcard arrived at a P.O. Box in Ohio this past week -- 47 years late!
The card was send from Montana to Ohio in 1962. Both the sender and intended receiver are no longer living.
A Postal Service Spokesperson said the card may have been stuck inside equipment or lost.
When the card was mailed nearly five decades ago, the price of a stamp was four cents.
