Man Makes Himself at Home in Firehouse

A 29-year-old San Francisco man was found lounging inside Firehouse 19, early Monday morning, reports The Chronicle.

Eric Miller was discovered by a firefighter around 6 a.m, wearing SFFD-labeled clothes and watching television.

The real firefighter asked Miller if he "needed a jump," which is firefighter-speak for "You want to go home early?" When Miller acted confused, the firefighter became suspicious that Miller wasn't part of the department.

Police believe Miller may have entered the station as early as 2 a.m. while firefighters were alseep or out on a call.

During his short visit, Miller did some wash, used the workout equipment and slipped into department workout clothes - which actually belonged to a female firefighter.

Miller was booked on suspicion of felony burglary and possession of stolen property.
