SDSU Takes Shot at ‘Other' Final 4

The Aztecs made it to the dance -- they're just not dancing with the prettiest girl in the room.  It didn't help that they had two left feet.

San Diego State lost to Baylor 76-62 in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) semifinals at Madison Square Garden.

Both Head coaches, Baylor's Scott Drew and SDSU's Steve Fisher, have completely turned around their programs and had legitimate beefs about not being included in the NCAA Tournament.

"We've all seen teams that ... get in, that sleepwalk through their first round game and get bounced and they're embarrassed, and we've been just the opposite," Fisher said. "We've been really good with tremendous energy and effort in all three of our wins."

The Aztecs had plenty of energy, but were shot down by the Bears' deadly 3-point shooting.
