Puck Daddy Hockey Rumors and Playoff Smack Talk Chat

Most of the Stanley Cup playoff matchups, as of today's standings, are off the hizzy: Boston Bruins vs. the Montreal Canadiens; New Jersey Devils vs. New York Rangers; Washington Capitals vs. Pittsburgh Penguins; Detroit Red Wings vs. Anaheim Ducks; and Chicago Blackhawks vs. Vancouver Canucks.

We could watch seven games in any of those series fully confident that the hockey action and underlying drama of any of them would be satisfying.

But are there just some playoff teams, or teams on the bubble, that don't do it for you? The Columbus Blue Jackets are a great story should they make the cut, but will you make time in your life to sit and watch them play, say, the Calgary Flames if you don't have a dog in the fight?

We'll discuss this, the overall playoff races and the usual scuttlebutt and innuendo as the offseason approaches for many teams in our weekly chat at 1 p.m. EST. Please join panelists Lyle "Spector" Richardson of Fox Sports and David "Dave" Pagnotta of The Fourth Period for all the fun. As always, please do bring the funny.
