Fight Video: Round four for George Parros and Raitis Ivanans

After taking a high-stick to his right eye earlier this season, George Parros of the Anaheim Ducks was out of the lineup for several games because, as coach Randy Carlyle put it, "the doctor feels his line of work specifically is putting him at some risk and he won't clear him to play."

Parros punched the clock again last night for Anaheim ... and punched division pugilism rival Raitis Ivanans of the Los Angeles Kings a few times for good measure, too.

This is the fourth time these two have scrapped; and according to those fisticuff aficionados at HockeyFights.com, Ivanans has won two of them, one of them was a draw and Parros currently leads the voting for this latest round. Like other editions, this was just a solid bout between two well-matched fighters, full of veteran savvy.

So Ducks fans are blessed with a shutout from their backup goalie and an admirable fight from their enforcer. But the Kings can still take some satisfaction in knowing they've got something Anaheim doesn't have: The support of handsome actor Christian Slater!

Happy Harry Hard-on was in the house for Saturday night's 3-1 loss to the Nashville Predators. Based on the last two losses, nothing inspires a hockey team more than an endorsement from the star of a swiftly cancelled NBC series. From Matt from Life in Hockeywood: "No word if Slater caught a puck at this game, like he did in Untamed Heart. (Mmmmmm, Marisa Tomei) We do know he didn't die after the game, because he was able to snap some pics with some Kings players, like Anze Kopitar."

Matt also notes that Anze has used his new contract as motivation to begin dressing like Jon Favreau in "Swingers." Which, we guess, makes him so money that he doesn't even know it, and Dustin Brown "the guy behind the guy behind the guy."
