Padres Trying to Trade Peavy

The Padres don't seem concerned about who's going to play in the World Series, but rather who might make a trade for Jake Peavy.   The 2007 Cy young Award winner is on the block.

According to reports, the Braves and Dodgers are showing the most interest in acquiring Peavy.  He had a 10-11 record last season with an
exceptional ERA of 2.85.
Atlanta is also talking about expanding the deal to include shortstop Khalil Greene.  The Cardinals, Astros, Brewers, and Yankees are other teams that could get involved in the Peavy trade talks.

Peavy stands to make 56 million dollars over the next four years with a 22 million dollar option for a fifth.
