Kobe Bryant ended with nine points on 4-of-12 shooting for the Lakers, who went 1-of-11 from three-point range. Andrew Bynum tallied nine points and three blocks, while Vladimir Radmanovic also scored nine in the win.
Jason Thompson had 15 points and eight rebounds for the Kings. John Salmons scored 11 and Brad Miller ended with 10 points in defeat.
