Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Kobe Bryant scored 11 of his game-high 39 points in overtime, as the Los Angeles Lakers avenged one of their home losses this season with a 115-111 triumph over the New Orleans Hornets.
Bryant went 13-of-30 from the field and made all 12 of his foul shots, as the Lakers moved to 26-4 as the host team. They lost to the Hornets, 116-105, at the Staples Center on January 6 and blew a 13-point lead in the fourth quarter Friday night, but managed to fend off the Hornets.
Pau Gasol had 20 points, 12 rebounds and six assists for the Lakers, who have won 10 of their last 11 games, moving to a league-best 45-10. Lamar Odom totaled 12 points and 17 boards, while Derek Fisher and Luke Walton each scored 14.
