Even though he's a first-time head coach, and he's in his first year on the job, Lions head coach Jim Schwartz probably feels like a grizzled veteran at this point.
There's no way to sugarcoat the historically bad team he inherited, and the reputation of the organization only made matters worse. With two picks in the first round, including the top overall selection, Schwartz and the Lions front office can start making some positive steps.
