Like the rest of you, I'm burned out on Brett Favre. Have been for, oh, a couple years now. But now that he's retired for good (for now), there's still the issue of who will be the Jets' starting quarterback next season.
As it stands, Kellen Clemens and Brett Ratliff are the favorites but only because they're currently on the roster. In the next few months, that'll likely change. NFL Network's Adam Schefter throws around some potential candidates, and while Kerry Collins certainly seems reasonable, he also mentions a not-so-obvious choice:
