Brandon Lloyd Back at Practice Just in Time to Shred the Lions

The Chicago Bears have played the past three weeks without arguably their best receiver, but Brandon Lloydreturned to the practice field today, and looks like he'll be ready to suit up this coming weekend at home against the hapless Detroit Lions.

The Bears' once-maligned passing offense has flourished this season, namely in the past few weeks as they've been rising all the way up to 11th in the NFL. The return of Lloyd gives Kyle Orton his most talented weapon and will only help the offense get better.

The last time Lloyd played a full game, he was gashing the talented Tampa Bay defense for 124 yards and a touchdown on six catches. A few of the catches were circus-like, as he rescued Orton from sub-par throws. In the past couple weeks, those sub-par tosses have gradually disappeared. The passing offense is firing on all cylinders.

Fantasy Spin:
Lloyd will be a quality WR3 in most leagues moving forward. The Bears are spreading the ball around a bit, but Lloyd is the best WR option of the bunch, especially with Devin Hester banged up. Having Lloyd come back also solidifies Orton as a quality fantasy starter even further. Assuming Lloyd has no setbacks and plays this weekend, he's a very solid flex option. Orton is a must-start against the Lions.
