NFL free agency doesn't officially begin until 12:01 AM ET Friday, but rumors have Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth eagerly awaiting the arrival of Redskin One to take him to Washington for his $100 million payday. FanHouse's Bruce Ciskie touched on the potential tampering issues surrounding any such deal, but apparently it's all moot.
Chad Speck, Haynesworth's agent, sent NFL Network's Adam Schefter this email Tuesday night: "Albert is not allowed to have a deal with another team, and he doesn't have a deal with another team ... We continue to keep the lines of communication open with Tennessee. The rumors suggesting that a deal is in place between Albert and the Washington Redskins are completely false."
