Chargers Sign 18, Release 2

Bolts add 18 rookie free agents on Monday

The Chargers drafted eight players over the weekend, but the roster tweaking was far from over.  They signed 18 rookie free agents on Monday.  These are collegiate players who were not selected by any teams in the seven-round NFL Draft.  Here's the complete list, with the players' names, positions and colleges:

The Chargers have had great success with undrafted rookies.  Antonio Gates and Kassim Osgood were both signed as free agents after being passed on in the Draft.

Also, the Chargers waived tight end Scott Chandler and defensive back DeJuan Tribble on Monday.
