San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - San Diego Chargers wide receiver Chris Chambers was sidelined for a second straight day of practice Thursday with a sprained ankle, putting his status for Sunday's road test against the Buffalo Bills in question.
Chambers was injured in a 17-10 setback to the Miami Dolphins in Week 5 and missed the Chargers' convincing 30-10 thrashing of the New England Patriots this past week. The veteran wideout has now missed five consecutive scheduled practice sessions after sitting out all of last week.
Linebacker Jyles Tucker, who missed the Patriots game with a hamstring injury, has also missed practice dating back to last week.
