Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson has completed the NBA's concussion protocol and has been cleared to play in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
Thompson, who was diagnosed with a concussion during Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals on May 27, has completed the NBA’s concussion protocol and has been cleared to play in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday, the Warriors announced on Tuesday afternoon.
“I expect to be (cleared for Game 1),” Thompson said after practice on Monday. “I feel like I’m on my way there.”
