Russian President Vladimir Putin skated in an exhibition match in Sochi over the weekend. His team, made up of other government officials and prominent businessmen, played a group of retired professional stars in front of a packed house.
Putin's team won 18-6, and he was Putin on a show (I'm sorry, I could not help myself). The world leader scored 8 goals in the match. As you can see in the video, the opposing goalie was not exactly putting in his best effort.
Perhaps that's because neither he nor his defensemen wanted an all-expenses paid vacation to Krasnoyarsk for keeping Putin from looking like a sporting legend. For those of you wondering, no, Putin did not skate any shifts without a shirt on (or while riding a horse).
