Titanic Loss for Raiders

The beginning of the post-JaMarcus Russell era looked the exact same as did the JaMarcus Russell era, just with a slimmer and suaver Oakland Raiders quarterback mishandling the snaps and throwing the interceptions.

Jason Campbell took a sack on his first play, did not accumulate positive net passing yardage until after halftime, ended up taking four sacks, lost two snaps, and threw and interception as the Raiders were demolished 38-13 by the Tennessee Titans in their 2010 season opener.

Titans running back Chris Johnson had his obligatory field day, running for 142 yards and two touchdowns. He already had 112 yards at halftime.

If it makes you feel any better, Darren McFadden had 95 yards on 18 carries.

Joe Kukura is a freelance writer who knew it would be a bad day when eve Janikowski missed a field goal.
