One of the biggest salmon ever recorded in California was found dead last month.
Biologists the Department of Fish & Game said the Chinook died of natural causes in lower Battle Creek, which is north of Chino, last month.
Officials said the live fish probably weighed more than 88 pounds. It weighed between 20 and 30 pounds when it was found.
