Stanford Guard Collapses

Some scary moments at the end of Stanford's big 81-74 overtime win over DePaul Sunday.

Junior guard Jeremy Green collapsed on the court.  The Associated Press said it looked like he was having trouble breathing. Paramedics came to his aid and out of the arena on a strecher.

Green played 39 minutes and scored 19 points.  He is the Cardinal's leading scorer for the season.

Stanford athletic director Bob Bowlsby told AP Green had a stomach virus all week and had been unable to keep any food down.  He said the early indication was that he was overcome by a combination of dehydration and exhaustion.

It was not immediately clear if Green would return with the team Sunday, or stay overnight in an area hospital.

The game closed out the 76 Classic in Anaheim.
