One Reason to Get Out of the Water

The annual Spring Surf Festival in Liberty Station is a must stop for ocean enthusiasts

Authentic Hawaiian dancers, island music, professional surfers signing autographs, and specially priced wetsuits - these are just a few of the attractions that will be taking ocean enthusiasts from the coast to Liberty Station this Saturday.

The annual "Spring Surf Festival" draws people with all types of ocean interests together for 5 hours of entertainment at Liberty Station's "The Boardroom", a surf shop increasingly known for it's soul and elegance.

Music will include "The Blonde Brothers", a quartet of teens from the Sunset Cliffs area, at 4:30 p.m.  The more well-known "Loma Tones" will take over the stage from 6pm to 8pm with Classic Rock N' Roll.

Wetsuit company "Matuse" will be among the manufacturers on hand with special prices and the latest trendy beach wear will be on display during a fashion show.

The Boardroom is located at 2445 Truxton Road, Suite 108 next door to Panera Bread and Bakery and across the courtyard from Sammy's Woodfired Pizza.

The "Spring Surf Festival" goes from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday April 11th.
