San Diego Chargers Running Back LaDainian Tomlinson wants to help teach your dog new tricks.
The NFL star and his wife, LaTorsha Tomlinson, are involved in a new facility that trains, treats, grooms and pampers dogs. Snug Pet Resort opened recently in Sorrento Valley.
The Resort specializes in helping owners understand their dogs, and dogs understand their owners. The company claims there is no dog that cannot be trained.
“In the long-term it builds a bridge of communication between you and the dog,” said Jason Austell. The NBC 7/39 News in the Morning anchor uses the facility and says the most valuable lesson his dog learned is obedience. “It’s not only training the dog, but maintaining and reinforcing the training,” said Austell.
The facility trains all breeds of large and small dogs, basic puppy training and even teaches old dogs new tricks!
“I can actually interact with him now, said dog owner and NBC 7/39 Employee Jesse Garcia. He says having control was the biggest difference. “I feel closer to him because he listens to me. I can take him anywhere and he behaves.”
Certified trainers are available seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Don’t think it’s all work and no play for the pooches. The resort also has courtyard with a swimming pool and a high-end penthouse suite with custom furniture and flat-screen TV’s. The Boutique offers couture clothes for pets, hand made leashes and custom dishes.
The Snug Animal Hospital also provides veterinary care for all of San Diego.
