Starting pitcher Jesse Hahn pitched well for the Padres and the offense had twelve hits in Tuesday night's 7-2 victory at AT&T Park.
Hahn (3-1) scattered four hits over six innings and gave up two runs, notching his third win of the season.
Alexi Amarista provided a lion's share of the offense. He was 3-for-4 and knocked in three runs.
The Padres have won five of their last seven and go for the series sweep Wednesday afternoon against the division leading Giants.
